...this is what I was inspired to make. I've had these old rustic hangers forever and I've always sort of envisioned them as bird perches. Or those little bird swings in cages. I always thought it was the cutest thing to see a bird swinging on one of those swings. Tho generally I don't like the idea of caged birds..

Anyway, I have a few old feather birds like this one, and in a variation of the Mayflower Wreaths I made earlier in the month I thought I'd make some Flowering Bird Swings. Or something like that..

I have about nine more hangers but only about 5 more birds. I need more birds!

So strange that I landed on your blog today (midnight, whatever) since I just sent your vintage paper lanterns. I was on Tammy Fischer's blog, and noticed your blog listed on hers, and thought I had not been to it before, than I saw your name appear at the top...and recognized it as one of the orders I sent out today! Funny!
