After..!!!
Ok.. here's the after! A lot shorter, huh? (and now that I look at the photo on my computer - a lot of fly aways! my hair and skin are so dry right now.. ugh..) And she didn't yell at me! Ha.. Actually, she thought my hair looked pretty good and couldn't believe it had been so long since I had been in..
I've been going to this place called Adam Broderick since it was a tiny little shop in, basically, a strip mall. Now it's super fancy. They just renovated it again and its really snazzy looking!
So Tuesday took a turn.. Em was fooling around in a playground with her friends (remember.. she's 16..) and they wanted to take a short cut out - but the fence was locked. So, they climbed up and jumped over.. and Em landed.. badly. She and Andy ended up at the ER for most of Tuesday late evening, and now she has a big velcro boot on - that makes her look like a Storm Trooper - on one foot. She has a bad sprain that turned a bit purple and puffy, but it's beginning to go down already. She has to wear Das Boot for about a week, and, amusingly the instructions were if it's not better by then to contact a Dr. Sanjay Gupta in Brookfield. If any of you watch CNN as much as we do, this would seem odd.. But I guess there is more than one Dr. Sanjay Gupta in the world!
So far my "month off" has not been very productive. I have not cleaned one closet, baked one cake, sewn anything, or carried on with my studio organization. Sigh..
Well - at least I got my hair cut. One thing off the list..

oh my gosh, you look adorable, I love the new haircut!!

Very nice Melissa,
I take the easy way out on my hair, it is naturally curly (have always hated it !) and I wear it long in a braid or in a bun. It isn't stylish, but functional....and since I deal with horses and goats and cats....dogs....chickens...every day, it is best for me.
Here's to hoping our April will be a vast improvement on March.

P.S. Don't worry about not getting everything done. It will get done eventually. That is my motto.

so cute! Great haircut! I'm the WORST at going to get a haircut. I've got naturally curly hair so I seem to let it go cause you can't really tell that it looks so bad!
Your new do looks great!

Your new 'do' looks loverly. What does the back look like? Is it like the Victoria Beckham cut?? shorter in the back and longer at the sides. I wish I could look as nice as you do without bangs.

I like the new do! Sorry about your daughter and the boot. I wore one once for 8 weeks after a bad break. Even had to sleep in it for the first 4 wks! Come for a visit.

You look lovely Melissa. This is the perfect color. Very natural looking. I've kept saying, "blonder, blonder, blonder" to the point that now I'm shining like a beacon everywhere I go. I need to tone it back down.
