I was born in New York City where my favorite places to visit were The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Central Park Zoo. My grandparents had a wonderful farmhouse in coastal Connecticut and that was my other favorite place on earth with it's flowergardens, fields, and sheep.
I come from a family of artists, designers and craftspeople and knew from an early age I was and would always be an artist myself.
Through the years I have had many creatively oriented jobs from teaching to mural painting to jewelry design and paint-your-own-pottery shop. Now I am lucky enough to maintain a home studio and spend many of my days creating art.
Nature, the changing seasons, the world around me, and my two wonderful daughters are what inspire me the most.
